If the wagon is not outside, please ring the doorbell.  A great time to return books is when you turn-in your laptop. If you can't find any items, please contact Mrs. Wilhelm at sawilhelm@fcps.edu.

FCPS will be returning to five days a week of in-person learning in the fall.  You can get a head start on the 21-22 school year by pre-purchasing your child's school supplies. Each Spring the GBW PTA offers the convenience of pre-packaged "supply kits" from CampusSurvival. Instructions for online ordering can be found at  www.campussurvivalkits.com/gbw, as well as on our GBW school homepage. Online ordering closes on July 15.

10. PTA Events & Announcements

THANK YOU! for a great year from the PTA.

It has been an incredible year.  We want to thank the students for their incredible resilience, the teachers who have worked tirelessly with our students and for being so patient and creative, our GBW staff for accommodating continued changes, added work and always being there for the community with smiling faces, and most of all to our community and parents for taking on multiple roles as parents, care givers, teachers etc. as we progressed through the year.

We are grateful for community support and our volunteers who were able to pivot creatively to support our students.

We look forward to seeing everyone back in school next year. We wish for a peaceful, restful summer for all the families.

Parent Volunteers Needed for Next Year!

Are you able to donate your time to support our students in these areas next year?

  • 50th Celebration committee-Join us to help celebrate our school's 50th birthday. We are planning to do various events throughout the year. We could use help with planning these events or just helping with a small portion of one event.
  • Restaurant Fundraiser- Spirit nights at restaurants are a great way to raise money for the school to spend on enrichment activities and events. It takes an hour to book the event. If you are able to coordinate even a few of these events please reach out at Greenbriarwestpta@gmail.com.
  • Attention current 5th grade parents: We need a volunteer Chairperson and Members to serve on the 6th Grade Committee next year! Please help us coordinate the class fundraiser, shirt order/distribution, class gift, and promotion celebration next year! Please email 6th grade committee member Jen Manaloto at jenmanaloto@gmail.com to volunteer.
  • Adopt-A-Highway Co-Chair needed! Learn from the current chair next year and take over the duties in 2022-23. This is a fully-virtual volunteer role except for the 3 hours per year spent at the clean-up events. Please email Adopt-A-Highway Chair Jen Manaloto at jenmanaloto@gmail.com for more details!
