Today, Friday, June 11th is the last day of the 2020-2021 school year. Students will be dismissed 2 hours early at 1:35 p.m.
Please be sure you have made arrangements for your child to get home safely at this earlier time.
- PARENTS ONLY must pick-up all medications no later than 1 p.m. TODAY, June 11th.

Medication left in the Health Room after 1:00 p.m. on June 11th cannot be saved and will be discarded according to FCPS and FCHD policy.
- REMINDER: New medication authorization forms are required for each new school year. Forms can be found at: https://www.fcps.edu/registration/forms

If you purchased a yearbook and your child is virtual, you may come to the office next week to pick up your copy.

In Person Students
Lees Corner has collected FCPSOn school-issued laptops for in-person students at school this week.
Virtual Students
Lees Corner will be providing the following options for virtual students to return their FCPSOn school-issued laptops:

June 11th from 2:00-5:00 p.m. at the Kiss and Ride loop in the side parking lot

June 14th from 6:30 -11:30 a.m. at the Kiss and Ride loop in the side parking lot
Other dates and times may be arranged prior to these dates if necessary.
Curbside Collection Details:
When you arrive at Lees Corner, please pull into the Kiss and Ride loop and wait for a staff member to come to your car. Be prepared to wait for a brief amount of time so that we may scan in the devices.
Prior to arriving:

We have had a great year in Music! This Spring we have had fun Bucket Drumming, which has been new for us! At the beginning of the year, students were given rhythm sticks and egg shakers for Music. They will need these materials next school year. Students in grades 3rd-5th will need their recorders next Fall as well. Please encourage your students to put their Music materials in a safe place where they will be ready to be brought back next year! Sixth graders may keep the materials. We wish you all the best! Imagine Language and Literacy and Imagine Reading will be available for use this summer. Students will log in through Clever, as they have all year.
Pioneer Valley Literacy Footprints will be available for the summer for all students who are enrolled in FCPS as of June 10, 2021. This online platform contains a variety of leveled books to support reading fluency and comprehension! Students will log in through the same link as this year (above). If you are interested in learning more about this program, please check out this quick tutorial.
The PTA is offering parents the convenient services of pre-packaged supply kits. This service by The Write Stuff ensures your child or children have the school supplies they need next year without having to run to several different stores to find them. This year, the sales from the school supplies will benefit the PTA.
Each kit will contain exactly what is on your child’s supply list.

Orders placed online by June 13, 2021 will be sent directly to Lees Corner. Orders can still be placed online until July 11, 2021 but will include a delivery fee and be sent to your home address.

The FCPS Parent Technology Help Desk will continue to support parents and students through the summer months.
The phone number is 833-921-3277 (833-921-FCPS) - and the reduced hours for summer are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday through Friday in June, July and early August.
Outside of those hours, parents can also visit the Parent and Student IT Support Portal to find self-help resources or submit a tech support request ticket.
We have great news to share! SACC (School Age Child Care) will be open to provide before and after school services for the 2021-22 School Year. The SACC program is currently assessing center capacities based on health and safety protocols. More information for the 2021-22 School Year program will be available by June 15 on the SACC website. Families who were previously enrolled will be contacted to determine their need for services.
We are honoring and celebrating the life of our beloved friend, colleague, and parent, Nicole Sharabi, by creating painted rocks as part of the Kindness Rocks Project. It was so wonderful that so many students and families were able to participate! We will also be installing a Little Library in the outdoor classroom which will be dedicated to Mrs. Sharabi. The Little Library will include some of Mrs. Sharabi's favorite books. We hope you will visit our outdoor classroom, read a book, and be inspired to live your best life full of kindness, love, and joy!
