Congratulations to our 6th Grade Students on your Promotion
We had a lovely morning ceremony to celebrate our 6th grade students at McLean High School and afternoon celebration on the blacktop and field back at Chesterbrook. Thank you to our parent volunteers that helped make the event a success for our students.
Yearbook Distribution
All yearbooks will be distributed on Wednesday, June 9th. In-person students will receive yearbooks in school and virtual students can come by the main office.
We have a limited number of Chesterbrook 2020-21 Yearbooks available and would like to offer them on a “first come” basis. Payment can be made in the form a check payable to Chesterbrook ES for $20.00. Please bring your check to school as soon as possible and the yearbook will be distributed to your student on Wednesday, June 9th. The office is open tomorrow from 9-2.

Student Laptop Collection
In Person Students will return school laptops on Friday, June 11th during the school day.
Virtual student laptops can be turned in as soon as you are finished working with them, but no later than 3PM on Monday June 14th.
- Parents can drop off laptops, sleeves and charger to the Main Office M-F (8am to 3pm).
- Parents may pay for any lost items (laptop, sleeve or charger) in My School Bucks.
- ALL student laptops must be returned to the school by COB June 14th.

Tutoring List Chesterbrook Staff
As we close our 2020/21 school year, parents have requested private tutoring options for summer. Linked here is a list of Chesterbrook staff who are available for private tutoring.
Parents are free to contact the staff members listed below to make such arrangements (pricing, subject matter, and frequency). In this capacity, staff members are considered private contractors and any arrangements made are between the family and staff member.
The Parent Resource Center also maintains a current list of all FCPS staff who are available for private tutoring. Parents may contact the Parent Resource Center at prc@fcps.edu to request that listing.
Medication Pick Up
Please note that all medication must be picked up from the clinic by the last day of school, June 11, 2021. Please contact our front office to coordinate a pick up time.
Meal Distribution
Bus Routs for Meal Distribution will not run on June 11. Additional meals will be offered on June 7th - 10th and June 14th. In addition, we will distribute 7-day meal kits on June 7th, 10th and 14th at all of our grab and go and meal kit sites. Details are available on the website: https://www.fcps.edu/return-school/food.
