FINAL FOOD TRUCK with LIVE MUSIC, TOO!
Please join us for a fun and relaxing conclusion to a most unusual year! On Monday, June 7th from 3-5pm at Frost Middle School (look for balloons in the parking lot by the Finance Building) we will support the Frost Orchestra, Band students and the PTA. Tacos Mixto and Hershey's Ice Cream Food Trucks will be there and each will donate 10% of the proceeds to the PTA. Stay awhile and enjoy the sounds of four levels of Frost's Orchestra. They will rehearse and have an informal performance within their 30-minute block, culminating with the song “Throne Room” from Star Wars, where the Symphonic Orchestra will be joined by members of the Frost Band! This is sure to be a wonderful, spirited way, to bid farewell to a long year.

FEEDER SCHOOL ANNOUNCEMENT:
Attention Mantua Elementary School Alumni, after 26 years of serving Mantua Elementary School as Principal, Mrs. Jan Marie Fernandez is retiring. We are making sure we send her off in style and show her the appreciation she so deserves. Mark your calendar for Monday, June 7th. There will be a parade in front of Mantua Elementary School beginning at 3:45pm. You may walk, drive or bike through the parade. Feel free to bring a note, picture, or any memento that you would like to give to Mrs. Fernandez. All are invited to join us as we show Mrs. Fernandez how much she is truly loved by all.
In addition, we are creating a Tribute Video. We invite past and present students and families to take a minute and record a quick message. Let us show Ms. Fernandez some Mantua love - it is super easy:
- Go to: Tribute Video for Mrs. Fernandez.
- Click on the "Record/Upload Video" big red button.
- Record your video from your computer or phone (TIP: If you are recording the video from your phone make sure to hold your phone HORIZONTAL!)
- You can also record messages as groups or as a family.
- Example messages might include:
- “Hi Mrs. Fernandez, remember me? Jane Doe from 1997? Good luck with everything!”
- “Thank you, Mrs. Fernandez, for everything!” “Congrats on retiring we’ll miss you. From the Doe family”
- If you have a fun memory, please share that too. Make sure to say your name and the year you left.
- We will be collecting videos until THIS Friday, June 4, 2021.
