Principals' Message

Good morning Freedom Hill families,

As the end of the school year approaches, we remain thankful for our students' positivity and smiles. Their perseverance through virtual instruction, in-person instruction, SOL assessments, and more continue to brighten our days and give us much hope for next school year! We have much to celebrate this year, and you'll hear from your teacher soon about how your child's class will be celebrating the end of the school year.

In the coming weeks, we'll be sharing some information on the new professional educators who will be joining our staff next year. We can't wait. We will also be honoring our retirees who we will miss a great deal.

This week, we have newsletter updates on the following:

  • SOL assessments this week
  • Laptop return information
  • 2021-22 School Calendar
  • Summer digital and paper-based resources
  • Kindergarten and Head Start registration

Did you know that Freedom Hill often qualifies for a 4th kindergarten classroom just before the school year begins due to last minute enrollments? We would love to hire this teacher now! If you know a family with an unregistered rising kindergartener, please encourage them to register ASAP!

Wishing you a great week ahead,

Dr. Nicholas Zapadka, Principal

Eric Kopacz, Asst. Principal
