Ghana Assembly with Kofi Dennis
Kings Park is excited to have our first virtual assembly of the 2020-21 school year! This virtual assembly will be Friday, May 7th from 1:30-2:30pm on the BBCU platform. Our guest, Kofi Dennis, will be sharing with us music, storytelling, drumming, and dance from his homeland of Ghana, in West Africa.
Kings Park students have been learning and making connections through “windows and mirrors” in the music curriculum this year and are excited to get a stamp from Ghana in our Passport to Learning! Students will be given the opportunity to ask questions at the end of the presentation. Students who are in-person will view/participate in the assembly from their classroom with their classroom teacher.
Students who are virtual will view/participate in the assembly via a direct BBCU guest link sent out on May 7th from their classroom teacher.
