Staff Appreciation Week

We want to send a big thank you to the KPKGPTA for helping honor the work and dedication of all the staff at Kings Park ES. This week has started off strong with kind words of encouragement chalked on our school porch and a fantastic boxed lunch. We continue to be grateful for the support and collaboration of the Kings Park community. Both Scott and I are proud to be a part of such a strong and dedicated team.

Class Placement Information

As we begin to plan for the 2021-2022 school year, we are inviting your input. Creating class assignments requires careful consideration and the involvement of many perspectives. We know a good teacher-student match and a productive mix of children are ingredients for success. Should you have additional information about your child that school staff may not know, particularly regarding learning style and classroom environment; we ask that you please complete the Google Form by Friday, May 7th. If you have more than one child attending KPES, please complete one form per child.

We ask that you do not request specific teachers and keep the information shared about your child and the type of learning environment you feel would be the most productive for them. We assure you that with or without a form, each child’s strengths and needs are considered. As in the past, families will receive class placement notification just prior to school starting.

Kings Park ES Class Placement Information 21-22

Here Comes the Bus!

Would you like to check if your child's bus is running late? Fairfax County Public Schools Office of Transportation offers two different ways you can access information on your child's bus arrival information.

Bus Delay Notification System - This gives you FCPS School Bus Delays for both AM & PM.

Here Comes the Bus - This is a school bus tracking app that provides parents/guardians with real-time bus locations through text or email alerts. A Student Information System (SIS) parent account is required to download the app. The app tracks the bus route-not the student.
