Message from the Principal

Greetings Saxons,

What a week in Saxon Country! Our students continue to amaze with their outstanding intellect and fantastic talents. We have much to celebrate in this week’s message.

Congratulations to the cast and crew of  Saxon Theatre’s “Never Swim Alone,” which took first place at the VHSL Sectional competition last week. We salute Cole Sitilides and Leland Hao who were also awarded top honors as Best Actors.

Hats off to Langley Volleyball- Northern Region Champs! Way to go, team!

Congratulations to Audrey Kim, Emily Wang and Alina Ho who qualified for the VHSL Girls’ Golf State Championship! We certainly wish them well!

A huge shout out to Langley’s Golf team which garnered its fifth consecutive VHSL state championship win this past Monday. The team has broken the VHSL record for most consecutive state championships. Additionally, we congratulate Kelly Chinn on his individual state title.

One of the many traditions at Langley HS is our career fair. This year, the event was held virtually. Thank you to Langley’s PTSA for their sponsorship of The Career Connections event. Thank you to the following students who served on the planning committee: Dani Grieco (co-chair), Ariana Sanjideh (co-chair), Keelin Byrne, Ella Fedewa, Anjali Fedewa, Alisha Luthra, Caroline Senich, Katherine Senich.

 

Langley teachers and staff sincerely thank our Girl Scouts and the Girl Scouts Nation’s Capital for the generous donation of cookies. The Girl Scout love was felt and appreciated by all!
