We wanted to provide a last minute opportunity to answer any questions you may have around our return to 4 day instruction for our in-person learners. This will be an open virtual office with administration.

Transportation Updates
Bus updates were made in the system over the past week. On Monday, you should be able to check your child(ren)’s bus assignment in ParentVue. Even if the assignment indicates A or B, your child(ren)can take the bus 4 days. Please walk your child(ren) to your stop and be patient. Allow drivers to assist all riders on the bus. If the bus is overloaded, transportation will send another bus. If you would like to request bus transportation, please complete this form.
We expect kiss n ride to be busy and ask that you have care and patience during arrival and dismissal. Do not turn left into or out of the parking lot during arrival or dismissal in order to keep our traffic moving smoothly. We appreciate your support and know that no one loves sitting in traffic. Our staff will work as quickly as possible to help your children in and out of vehicles safely.
Substitute for FCPS
Are you currently an eligible substitute in FCPS? Have you ever thought about becoming a substitute teacher or substitute Instructional Assistant? Please check out the information posted on our FCPS website to learn more about this opportunity. As we look forward to next year, we would love to have individuals with a caring heart for children with a desire to help them grow, all while supporting our wonderful Chesterbrook staff.

- Commonwealth of Virginia has passed Senate Bill 1303 making it a legal requirement to offer five days of in person instruction for all students
- Limited virtual learning options - by exception
- Plans underway for the following:
- Transportation
- Lunch
- Ensuring academic support, including summer school programs

Student Registration for 2021-22
It is important to begin registrations so we can staff kindergarten teachers appropriately for the 2021-2022 school year. Please do not delay so we can be prepared. Staffing has already begun!

- Enrolling Parent Photo ID
