What's Happening at Mount Eagle

Spring Break is here!
Today is the last day of the third quarter. Instruction will end at 1:30pm. Spring Break will be next week from March 29 - April 2. Monday, April is a teacher workday. There will be no morning meeting or asynchronous work. We'll see everyone on Tuesday morning!

SOL Testing This Year
Students in grades 3-6 will be given the SOL tests beginning at the end of April and lasting through May. All grades will take a Reading and Math test, with Grade 5 also taking a Science test. Whether your child is learning all online or in-person, the tests will be administered here at Mount Eagle on student computers.
There is a process if families would like to opt-out of testing for their child, and we will share about that as well as other information regarding testing after spring break via email and parent evening meetings. Stay tuned for more information.

This week, we welcomed Ms. Toni Collins to our Office Team. Ms. Collins is our new Student Information Assistant. She can help with questions about registration, records and progress reports. Virtual Instruction Schedule: Here is the schedule for when students are at home learning virtually. For students who are in the building on Tuesday & Wednesday, their schedule looks a little different because it includes recess and time for dismissal.
Meal Pick-up Schedule
There will be no meal pick-up during Spring Break. It will resume on Tuesday, April 6 with the bus delivery service.
Grab & Go: Daily pick-up of breakfast & lunch
Meal Kit: Weekly pick-up of a kit that has 7 days worth of meals

Every Monday- Friday: Grab & Go at 10:30-10:40am Note new time.
Every Wednesday: Meal Kit from 10am - 12:30pm
