8th Graders, We Need Your Help!
The 7th grade history team is missing many copies of the novels Code Talkers and Under a War Torn Sky. They were handed out before the pandemic. If you have a copy of these books we lent out last year, please return. There will be a cart set up outside the 8th grade sub school for book drop offs. Thank you for your help as we try to recover lost books.

Hello, Robinson Families,
Request for HELP! Robinson library is missing 396 overdue library books, and our students are eagerly waiting for titles to return so they can read the books as well. Please take a moment to look around your home for Robinson library books and return them to the school.
You are welcome to return them in any of the following ways: ** During curbside services, Mondays from 1:00-6:00 (when school is open) ** In-person students can drop off books on the cart, outside the main doors of the library ** If the weather is nice, look for the library book return cart during school hours, Monday through Friday, outside of door #3 ** Contact one of Robinson’s Librarians to arrange another option: https://robinsonss-fcps.libguides.com/c.php?g=1011920&p=7330024
Please help us reclaim the books our students are excited to read. THANK YOU! Wishing you a safe and relaxing spring break, ~ Robinson’s Librarians

Course Selections/Academic Advising
Counselors are finishing Academic Advising this week for school year 2021-2022. Parents and students can see what classes your child has selected by looking in StudentVue. Students/Parents will need to log in on a computer, this information is not easily found on a smartphone. This is not the daily schedule, but a list of classes they have signed up for. If your child does not have a complete selection of classes, please email their counselor (see counselor contact information below).
Rising 7th or 8th grade students: When reviewing the courses, please consider the following:
- A full course load of seven classes, which includes: English, History or Civics, Science, Mathematics, Health and PE (Middle School P.E. is divided into 2 semester classes), and Electives. Semester elective courses must be matched with another semester elective course to create a full-year course.
- The correct level of courses by grade and proficiency (i.e. English 7, Science 8, Spanish 1).
- Honors designation when appropriate (Honors classes have a HN designation).
- Electives: 2 yearlong electives, or 1 yearlong and 2 semester, or 4 semester electives.
-
TEAM DESIGN on the middle school schedule is not a class, but a place holder for identifying team designation in the middle school.
-
LEARNING SEMINAR - Learning Seminar is an opportunity for all students to rotate to a different class on Gold days and receive additional instruction or enrichment for that class. This is considered an additional period included in the students 1-8 period schedule.
Rising 9th grade students: When reviewing the courses, please consider the following:
- A full course load of seven classes, which includes: English, World History, Science, Mathematics, Health and PE, and Electives. Semester elective courses must be matched with another semester elective course to create a full-year course.
- The correct level of courses by grade and proficiency (i.e. English 9, Spanish 2).
- Honors designation when appropriate (Honors classes have a HN designation).
- At least 4 alternate electives in the event a class is not open or available.
If, upon reviewing this information, you decide to make changes to your student’s course request, please notify your child’s counselor. All schedule change requests must be made in writing and completed by June 8th.
