One major goal for our PTA is to diversify our group, to make sure that all the voices of our community really do have a chance to be heard. We are (still!) currently looking for members to serve on the nominating committee to help facilitate the process of electing the new board for next year.
Any PTA Member is eligible to be on the nominating committee. Main duties include soliciting PTA board nominees, communicating with other committee members, sharing information regarding board positions, communicating with persons interested in running for the board to answer questions, and attending the April and May general membership meetings to help with presenting nominees and elections. If you are interested in serving in this capacity or have additional questions, please email Sara McClung at VP@gbepta.com.
