Great week! #10

A message from Principal, Amy Miller:

Dear Kilmer Families,

It has been another great week at Kilmer! Our online learners continue to do great things in the virtual environment. In-person students have done an amazing job transitioning back to the building and following the safety protocols. We continue to look for ways to improve our practices which has included providing students time outside during lunch. Our teachers continue to focus on connecting the virtual learners and the in-person learners. We are very grateful for the ongoing support, understanding and encouragement from the Kilmer community during this time of transition.

Sincerely,

Amy Miller, Principal

FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback

During the next two weeks, all Kilmer Middle School parents/guardians will be contacted through email with a link to the FCPS Principal Evaluation Parent/Guardian Feedback Form Online. This questionnaire is part of the Performance Evaluation Program and offers parents/guardians an opportunity to provide anonymous input about various topics related to our school. These topics include instructional leadership, school climate, human resources management, organizational management, communication and community relations and professionalism. Understanding that this has been an unusual year, the impacts of COVID-19 will be taken into consideration when reviewing the feedback.

The questionnaire was sent on Monday morning from FCPSSurvey@fcps.edu. Please take a few minutes to complete the questionnaire. Reminders will be sent periodically to only those parents/guardians who have not completed the questionnaire.

Your opinions matter and I look forward to reviewing the feedback.

If you have not received a survey link and wish to provide feedback, Please email FCPSSurvey@fcps.edu and Shelli Wayland will send you a link.
