Attendance Matters!
Attendance drives everything! It is tied to almost every aspect of school performance and future outcomes. Please visit the Falls Church High School website attendance page for updated policies and procedures.
What are some simple things we can all do about attendance?
- Positively encourage good attendance with your children
- Communicate about obstacles to attendance so the school can offer support
- Encourage, support, and assist your children with learning and acting responsibly by:
- Asking specific questions about classes and homework
- Get to know your child’s teachers
- Reach out to teachers when your child is struggling
Avoid absences unless absolutely necessary!

The building will open for students at 7:50 am.

Boys Soccer Update
For students interested in playing soccer: the season will run from April – June and conditioning will start the first week of March. Tryouts will be held April 12th. More information will be posted to the Falls Church Sports Boys’ soccer pages within the week, so please check the websites below in order to stay up to date. In order to be ready for the season you will need the following:
