Transportation Information

Parents of students who have selected in-person instruction are able to view their child's bus route assignment using the SIS ParentVue account. The image below will help you find the information in ParentVue. Earlier this month, the FCPS Transportation Team sent a notice to all families about their student’s route assignments. If you have not checked your student’s route assignment, please do so as soon as possible. If there is an issue with the route assignment, families are asked to call Area 3 Transportation at (703) 249-7000. It is suggested that students plan to arrive at their bus stop five minutes early in the morning. Franklin families can also contact our Main Office at (703) 904-5100 with any additional questions.

Student Schedules and SIS ParentVUE Account Information

The SIS ParentVUE Account (Student Information System ParentVUE Account) is the FCPS secure solution for accessing information about your child's attendance, class performance, demographic data, and links to FCPS 24-7 information. Your child’s schedule is also available in SIS ParentVUE. If you have questions about SIS, please call the main office at (703) 904-5100 or contact Kristine Smith.

Student Medication

Parents and guardians of students who are returning to in-person learning may bring medication to the Health Room Monday - Friday from 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM. As a reminder, students may not carry medication during the school day. Please click here for information on School Health Services and a link to medication authorization forms. Please contact our School Health Aide, Donna Long, with any questions.

Chrome Sync

As part of FCPS’s ongoing effort to support student use of technology, Chrome Sync and the ability to save passwords will be available as an option starting on February 18th. Students are not required to use Chrome Sync and save passwords, but may choose to them in order to:

  • reduce their log-in time
  • access bookmarks and extensions across devices

Chrome will remember and offer saved passwords when students are logging into different instructional applications. Chrome will also make bookmarks and extensions available on any device in which the student logs into Chrome and turns on Sync.

If your student would like to use Chrome Sync and save passwords, support resources are available on the FCPS website. If your child is logging into Chrome now, they may need to log out of Chrome and log back in to see the new features.
