Community Use Reminders
Students are returning to school and we need your help to ensure that the school grounds are safe, clean and ready for students.
There have been a number of issues that have appeared with the warmer weather and we wanted to bring them to the attention of our community to assist.
As students return, a reminder that visitors may not use the school grounds between 8:30 AM - 4PM. We welcome you to our fields and playground after that time.
We greatly appreciate your support to keep our school community safe and clean..

Animals are Prohibited from School Grounds
For the safety of our students and those that use our facilities for community use, your animals are excluded from school grounds at all times.
If you choose to walk your child to school with your dog, you should say goodbye to your child on the sidewalk before entering school property. Dogs should not be brought up to the school or on leash in the kiss n ride area.
Dogs are also not allowed on our playground or fields at any time. We love your pets and seeing them, but this is not allowed.
Your dog is allowed with you in your car at kiss n ride. This is a great way to send your kid off in the morning or pick them up in the afternoon if they want to bring them.
Use of Fields and Woods for Motorbiking is Prohibited
We have recently noticed that our back treed lot has been the source of young adults motorbiking and trespassing on school property. This has been reported to school security and they will be monitoring this area. FCPS is working in conjunction with Fairfax County Parks Authority to remedy the destruction of this area to create bike trails. If you are aware of individuals doing this, please pass this message along so we can keep our children safe.
Dumping on School Grounds
We had a number of community residents dump home debris in our dumpsters and waste receptacles on school grounds this weekend. Our custodial team works very hard to keep our school clean and wall maintained. We need for community members to find the appropriate disposal sites to get rid of home waste. The waste receptacles on our playground are cleaned and maintained by our custodial staff. When you bring your recycling or other debris to load, it creates additional work and creates a space issue for our school trash. Please be courteous and do not dump on school grounds.
