West Potomac Weekly News

Happy First Week of #R2WP!

I am pleased to report that we had a great week with our return to West Po!  Our students were fantastic!  Our staff was amazing.  I am grateful for our community.  There were literally hundreds of man hours put into planning for this return and it has paid off.  Concurrent instruction is very new, and frankly difficult to accomplish but our teachers and students were patient and caring throughout.  Know that everyone involved is doing their best and we will finish out this school year strong.

If you have a virtual student, you should have received an eNotify on yesterday with information on how to sign up for CONSIDERATION of changing your status to in person.  Please follow that information if you are interested.

We have a new attendance code- SYC- that teachers will use if an in-person student does NOT come to school BUT DOES log in virtually.  If you see this code for your in-person student’s attendance it means they did not come to school physically and did participate virtually.

As always, thank you all for your support and have a wonderful weekend!

Take good care,

Ms. Millard
