Churchill Chatter - Issue 28, March 1, 2021

welcome

Churchill Families,

This past week we welcomed some of our kindergarten students into the building! There was tremendous excitement among students and staff alike.  We appreciate your kindness and consideration as we fine tune all the logistical details.  As we welcome more groups into the building over the coming weeks, we will continue to fine tune our strategies and instruction for in-person students, as well as ensure our students who are remaining virtual stay energized, excited and connected “next to” their peers who may be coming to the school building.

As always, we are grateful for your support and please reach out if you need anything.

Sincerely,

Ms. Pierson and Ms. Niccolls

ram

Read Across America Day is Tuesday, March 2nd.  In celebration of the occasion, we will be promoting a week’s worth of simple, reading-related activities to encourage students to read and get excited about books!  Take a look at the graphic for simple ideas each day to encourage your children to read.

The daily reading activity will be promoted each day on the Bobcat News.  Happy Reading!

School Grounds Usage During School Day

Now that students have returned to the building, no visitors or students learning from home are permitted on school property during school hours from 8:30 AM - 4 PM. The use of the playground and fields will be available after 4 PM. Our school grounds will be used throughout the day for our recess breaks and other school activities.

Thank you for your understanding as we make this transition.
