Scottie Tales for the week of March 1

A Note From Your Principal

March is here which means Spring in right around the corner. With the promise of a new season, we welcomed our littlest Scotties back to the building last week. It was such a breathe of life and joy that was brought back into our school building once the students entered. We are equally excited to have our First and Second graders joining us next week.

National Reading Month is also celebrated in the month of March and we are excited to partner with our amazing PTO to celebrate reading. This month the PTO is sponsoring a Read-a-thon with prizes awarded to the classes that read the most. For more information on this and more please visit your Read-a-thon section on the school website.

There continues to be a bounty of return to school information coming out, and are staff is working hard to get everything ready for your students as we switch gears in the upcoming weeks. With all the transitions Mrs. Bennink, Mrs. Woo and I will be hosting Principal Town Hall events for the returning grade levels over the course of the next two weeks. This will give us an opportunity to present the most relevant information to you, as well as an opportunity for us to answer those burning questions you still might have. All  meetings will be recorded and the link will be sent out the following day for those who were not able to attend.  Dates and times are as follows:
