 Good Evening Parents and Families:
Hope you and your families continue to stay safe and warm. This week many of our Stone staff members will return back to the school building to prepare for the next phase of this school year. I want to reiterate our commitment to ensuring we stay engaged as a full school community, whether your student will come two days in-person, or remain virtually all four days.
Similar to how we have prepared our staff to return to the building, we will hold a series of meetings/information sessions for our students and families. We will post resources to our website, as well as in Schoology for students to access, so be on the lookout in the coming week for additional messaging and videos. I look forward to our virtual town hall meeting for 8th grade students/families who will be returning in-person to school. The town hall meeting will be this Thursday at 6:00 PM. A link will be provided.

Student Services Update
- Congratulations to our Q2 Honor Roll recipients. If you were unable to attend the ceremony on Friday 2/19, here is a link of the recorded ceremony.
- All return to school information for students returning in-person can be located here.
- Our School Counseling team presented virtually to our elementary feeder schools this week with transition and course selection information. Course selection information for academic advising can be viewed on our website.
- Counselors will meet with our Rising 8th grade students beginning the week of February 23rd.
- Students will be asked to select courses by submitting this Google Form by March 12th.
World Language Exam Reminder
Registration for the FCPS World Language credit exam ends on February 26th. If your child speaks, reads and writes in a language other than English, please review this opportunity for them to earn up to 3 HS credits in one setting.
Yearbook Reminder
Stone Yearbook needs your student’s help, please upload any photos using our website. To Order your Stone yearbook, visit this site.
Food Services Reminder
All FCPS students (regardless of age) are eligible for free grab and go meals, as well as other county children that are eighteen (18) years and under. Parents/caregivers picking up meals for children should let staff know how many children's meals they need and adults may purchase meals. For more info: https://www.fcps.edu/return-school/food
