Return to School Update

Bell Schedule

On February 16, the county shifted to a new bell schedule with a new start and dismissal time to support K-12 instruction and bus schedules. We will keep this bell schedule for the remainder of the year.  

Mondays we will continue to use the google form through 1st period teachers to take attendance. All students will continue to have classes Tuesday through Friday. Bell schedule with one lunch shift.

In-Person Return and Virtual Schedules

If students are returning for in-person learning the schedule is as follows:

Grade 8, 9, and 12 will return to the building beginning March 2.

Grades 7, 10, and 11 will return to the building beginning March 9.

Transportation

If your student is assigned a bus route, Transportation will load that information in SIS Student and ParentVue under Student Info > Transportation at least one week before your return date.  You can only see this information if you log on via the website, not the app.

Attention! Have you ever wanted to try making your own crêpes? Come to French Club on Thursday, February 25th @ 3:15-4:30pm and you can! This month we will be teaching how to make dessert crêpes. Please join the French club Google classroom, code: aymzshy

College Partnership Program, CPP

The College Partnership Program (CPP) is a program designed to assist students who are traditionally underrepresented in higher education (i.e first-generation, African-American, Hispanic, American Indian or Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian or Other Pacific Islander, English learners, students with disabilities or economically disadvantaged) explore, apply and enroll in college. In accordance with FCPS’ goal to eliminate gaps in opportunity, access and achievement for all students, CPP focuses on academic advising, college visits, parent engagement and preparation beyond high school.
