Technology Updates

Microsoft Office 365 Activation - The issue with students not being able to activate their Office 365 products on their FCPS issued devices has been resolved. Students that are still receiving a pop up message asking them to activate their Office 365 products need to use their ID@fcps.edu (example: 1234567@fcps.edu) and their most recent FCPS Network Password when prompted.  As an FYI the @fcps.edu accounts for students are NOT mail enabled and are used for the licensing of Microsoft products only.

Laptop updated? - If you visit any FCPS school and connect to the Fairfax Wifi your FCPS issued laptop will receive any updates it has not received while away from Twain.  You can do this at any time from outside any FCPS school.  All FCPS schools have extended Wireless Internet coverage outside the school.  When you visit the school, log on then do a restart.  Log back on and visit your Schoology courses and open up your FCPS Google Apps.  Restart the laptop before you leave the school.  This is another solution to activate your Office 365 products.

Technology Support Reminder – Students should contact the help desk or submit a ticket when they have issues with their FCPS devices or accounts.
