Dear Wolftrap Families,
I hope you and your family enjoyed the snow fall. We needed to see the beauty of snow this season and hopefully your children enjoyed making some snowmen and sledding throughout Vienna!
As a reminder, there will be a School Board work session on February 2 from 1:30-4:00 PM. The agenda for the meeting includes an update on health information, vaccine updates, staffing updates, interim guidance recently issued by the Virginia Department of Education for the reopening of K-12 schools, and an updated timeline for return to in-person learning. The meeting will be televised on FCPS Cable TV channel 99 (Verizon Channel 11) and will also be livestreamed on the FCPS website.

We are very happy for Julia and her family and all those that participated in the Reflections contest this year. What an exciting year it has been for the contest.
For a list of winners in this years contest please visit the Wolftrap PTA website: https://wolftrappta.membershiptoolkit.com/Reflections
Thank you all for your support!
Talent comes in all shapes and sizes and with a virtual show, our Wolftrap kids can show off skills that aren't possible on a live stage. As always, we welcome our singers, dancers, musicians, actors, and magicians, but this year we also invite our kids to think “outside the box” and show off their mad skills in whatever they enjoy and want to share. This year’s show is scheduled for Saturday, March 20th at 7:00 PM. Acts are DUE by February 10th - Check out the Talent Show page for full details including information about the 6th grade showcase.

The Edison Expo is back this year with a 2021 twist – we invite all Wolftrap students (K-6) to participate in this year’s Edison Expo STEM challenge between the week of February 6 through February 16th. Create the tallest free-standing structure possible using approved materials, such as cups and paper plates. No adhesives (such as glue or tape) are allowed and no boxes. We will have classroom-level and grade-level prizes for the highest cumulative towers.
See https://wolftrappta.membershiptoolkit.com/Edison_expo for guidelines and additional details. Questions? Contact edisonexpo@wolftrappta.org.
