Family Newsletter January 10

Due to last Wednesday’s events at the Capitol Building, a lot of pain and sadness crowd our already strained society.  Hatred, racism, and divisiveness have no place in the Poe community.  Our teachers are allowing for conversation around the most recent events at the Capitol. Our teachers, counselors, clinical staff, and administrators stand readily available to support our students and families as needed.

Please take care and know we are always available if you need family resources or simply someone to talk to.  Poe Middle School is committed to unity and the future of our beloved students.

Sincerely,

Jason Pannutti

Asynchronous Mondays

Attendance Form Required

On Mondays, students will engage in asynchronous work assigned by their teachers. Until further notice, students will no longer do a live check-in with their advisory teacher on Mondays.

However, we are mandated to take attendance on Mondays so every student will need to login into the Google Classroom for his or her advisory class and complete the Google form. We ask that students do this by 9:00 AM.
