Information from Stone MS and Webinar to Help Get Students Engaged

Stone Parents, Families and Caregivers,

I hope each of you and your families are safe and healthy, as I know this continues to be a challenging time for everyone.  I was able to stop into several classes the last two days and I again continue to be impressed with our students’ and staff members’ resiliency, persistence and dedication. It is so unfortunate and disheartening that we find ourselves as a community yet again having to process and find the words to discuss the horrendous events that took place yesterday. This morning, I shared some guidance and resources to support our teachers in how they could possibly address questions or concerns that may arise. I would like to continue to encourage you to please reach out to the members of our students services or administrative team if we can be of any assistance to you and your family.

There is a lot of information I will share out in this Saturday’s Principal’s message to include updates on closing out the second quarter and other Return to School updates. You will receive a separate email from our Student Services department with specific information on academic advising for the 2021-2022 school year. In the meantime, please find a timely webinar, which will take place this evening and tomorrow morning.

Again, I appreciate your continued support.

Thanks,

Meredith Norris
