Calendar Reminder

IB Information Night for Families of Rising 9th Graders
The IB Diploma Program coordinators will be presenting the Rising 11th Grade IB Information night on Thursday, January 28th at 7 PM. If you are interested in learning about the IB Diploma and the IB Program at Robinson, please join us. This meeting will be held in the virtual environment, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. The IB Coordinators will be available to answer questions.

Photo Retakes and Make Up Picture Day, Grades 7-11
Photo retakes and make up picture day for students in grades 7-11 is on January 11. Please sign up for a time slot if you need to have your photo taken. Each student will receive a free school ID card.

If you are in need of food, you may go to one of the following neighborhood sites at the times specified. The only question that is asked is, “How many people are in your household?” Please bring your own grocery bags!
Burke: Thursday
Summit Oaks: Parking lot on Oak Bluff Ct. at the end of Oak Leather Dr., Burke. 6:30pm
Crevenna Oak: Parking lot on Crevenna Oak Dr. at the end of Oak Green Dr. south of Burke Center Parkway, Burke. 7:00pm
Fairfax: Monday, Thursday
West of Circle ¼ mile on US 50, north on Draper Dr. to end at Kingsbridge. Parking lot of Yorkville Apartments, facing Kingsbridge. 6:00pm

Social Work Spotlight
The Learn to Breathe group is a 6 week evidence based group open to students at Robinson. The group teaches students breathing and mindfulness techniques that aid in increasing focus and reducing stress. The group is completely optional and will be facilitated by the school social work team. The group will meet virtually on Mondays at 12 pm starting on January 11th, 2021. If you are interested in your child (Grades 9-12) joining the group please complete the google interest form. We are looking forward to having your child join the group.
