Updates from Herndon Middle School 1/4/2021

Academic Advising and Course Selection for 2021-22 School Year

plan

During January, February, and March all school counselors will meet with each of their rising 8th and rising 9th graders individually to select courses for the 2021-22 school year. During this time, your child will bring home their course selection materials. It is imperative that you review this information with your student and consider what you know about your child’s strengths and needs when considering the course selection. Our counselors will review the requests as they advise students during course selection. Please note staffing decisions about course offerings are made based upon student course selection. It is possible that an advertised course may not run if there is not enough student interest indicated through course selection.
