Family Newsletter January 3

ny

We hope you found ways to rest and celebrate the holiday season with family and friends.   We look forward to an exciting winter as we finish the second quarter and begin academic advising.  We look forward to seeing you at the Poe Town Hall meeting on Thursday at 7:00.  Look for the link we will send this week.

On January 12, we will implement a new bell schedule to reflect FCPS start and end times for middle school. The school day will begin at 7:30 am and end at 2:00 pm.  A bell schedule with transition times will be shared soon.

Poe teachers and staff eagerly anticipate welcoming students for in-person learning.

  • 6th Grade - January 26
  • 7th Grade - February 2
  • 8th Grade - February 2

These dates are tentative and based on school health and safety metrics, and they are subject to change.  Please continue to monitor your email and the FCPS Return to School website for the most updated information.

We appreciate the work of our teachers and families to ensure our Ravens are able to access instruction and after-school programming.

Thank you,

Jason Pannutti

The funds raised will provide year-round sports training, competition, leadership opportunities, and health services to 23,000 athletes.
