IB Information Night for Families of Rising 9th Graders

The IB Diploma Program coordinators will be presenting the Rising 9th Grade IB Information night on Thursday, January 14th at 7 PM. This meeting will be held in the virtual environment, Blackboard Collaborate Ultra. If you are interested in learning about the IB Diploma and the IB Program at Robinson, please join us. The IB Coordinators will be available to answer questions.

Photo Retakes and Make Up Picture Day, Grades 7-11

Photo retakes and make up picture day for students in grades 7-11 is on January 11. Please sign up for a time slot if you need to have your photo taken. Each student will receive a free school ID card.

A new year brings new opportunities for social engagement, leadership, and service. Students are welcome to join clubs anytime and attend when available. Check out options by visiting the club website and/or grade level google classroom sites often. Get connected today!

To join a virtual club:

1. Students access the After School Program website (student facing) and open the Club List & Description spreadsheet for club specific details.

2. Students click the “Join Club Classroom” to join and receive updates and meet link for any clubs of interest.

Robinson Rising 7 Parent Night

Hello 6 grade families!  Can you believe it, we are already planning for next school year?  We, at Robinson, are looking forward to welcoming your students for school year 2021-2022.  The Class of 2027!  Please visit our website for some information regarding academic advising.  Rising 7 parent night will be virtual this year on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 7:00. Information will be presented by our core department chairs and some general school information.  Be on the lookout for an email with the link to join the meeting.  There will also be sessions for Special Education, ESOL, and Spanish Immersion starting at 6:15.  All links will be sent out closer to the 27th.

Food for Others - Food Resource! If you are in need of food, you may go to one of the following neighborhood sites at the times specified. The only question that is asked is, “How many people are in your household?” Please bring your own grocery bags!

Burke: Monday

Summit Oaks: Parking lot on Oak Bluff Ct. at the end of Oak Leather Dr., Burke. 6:30pm Crevenna Oak: Parking lot on Crevenna Oak Dr. at the end of Oak Green Dr. south of Burke Center Parkway, Burke. 7:00pm

Fairfax : Monday, Thursday

West of Circle ¼ mile on US 50, north on Draper Dr. to end at Kingsbridge. Parking lot of Yorkville Apartments, facing Kingsbridge. 6:00pm Food for Others also has a warehouse for food needs.
