A Message from Ms. Jankovich

Dear Sangster Families,

Tis the season to be hopeful of what's to come and appreciative of the blessings we do have.  I continue to be so thankful for the entire Sangster ES community - students, parents, and staff.  It's a joy to be part of a community where we take care of each other and people matter.  While we will likely face many challenges and obstacles in days to come, please know that Ms. Redford and I plan to be there every step of the way. Please reach out if you have any questions.  We are here to help in any way we can.

Tonight, beginning at 6:00PM, the Fairfax County School Board will be meeting for a scheduled Work Session to share information/updates on several topics including COVID trends across the county, mitigation strategies (to include information about the newly organized FCPS Safety Teams), and a proposed return-to-learn plan from Dr. Brabrand and the leadership team.  A lot of important information will be shared, so please tune in if you can.

We are continuing to finalize our master schedules and class lists (and decisions about concurrent learning) and will get that information to you soon.  It is also important that you know we do anticipate a bell schedule change as we shift to in-person learning in 2021 due to social distancing constraints on the buses.  As communicated before, we expect our new bell schedule to be 10:05AM to 4:50PM.  This schedule change will impact both in-person and virtual learners.  Stay tuned for more details on this.

Sincerely,

Allison

Acting Principal

Yearbook 2020-2021 Photo Contributions

If you would like to add photos to the 2020-2021 Sangster Shutterfly Share Site, you will first need to have/make a Shutterfly account (www.Shutterfly.com).

Then you need to access this link to the Google sign up form to share what email you use to sign in to your Shutterfly account. You will be granted access to contribute and upload photos to the Share Site within a few days. There are folders for each grade level; please upload photos into the correct folder. If you have students from multiple grades in one photo, choose the grade level folder of the oldest child. Adding photos to the Share Site does not guarantee that they will be utilized by the Yearbook.

Here is the link to the 2020-2021 Sangster Shutterfly Share Site

Email domishael@fcpsschools.net if you have any questions.
Thank you for your help in putting together an awesome yearbook!
