Playground Installation and Grounds Access

This week our new playground installation began. We will be sharing pictures of the work over the expected 3 week installation. The crew is hard at work and has already made great progress.

An orange fence was placed around the construction area to zone off the work area and prohibit access.

During the renovation work, fields and blacktop remain available for socially distanced exercise and activities. We encourage you to take a walk and enjoy the storywalk created by our wonderful PTA committee.

Enjoy the outdoors, take a walk with your family around our field and enjoy the new storywalk.

Thank you to our Chesterbrook Connections Committee, Melissa Weinstock, Kate Ward and Melinda Winn, for their work on this educational and physically engaging activity for our students.

Parent Health Screening Commitment Due for all parents sending students back to school

All parents sending students back face to face will be asked to complete the Health Screening Commitment Form.  Please log into SIS ParentVue to acknowledge the FCPS Health Screening Commitment Form as soon as possible.  Having this task taken care of now will save us time preparing for each group.

More information about returning to school for in-person instruction is available in the Family Guide for Return to School.
