Honor Roll Celebration
Congratulations go out to the 715 students who made the honor roll this year. Of those 715 students, 315 made all A’s on their report cards. Our honor roll students will receive their well-deserved certificates in the mail.
Again, we wish to congratulate all of our students who managed to conquer this virtual learning environment and earn A’s and B’s in their classes.
Private School Transcripts and Recommendations
Please email Private School Records Request to Mary Vandever at Mavandever@fcps.edu or FAX to 703-799-6140.
Please allow two weeks for private school transcript requests and testing scores to be sent out to the requesting school. Additionally, please ask your student to email teacher recommendation forms directly to their teacher and that teacher needs to email to Mavandever@fcps.edu.
Procedures for Visitors at CSMS
*When possible (unless it is an emergency) visitors must schedule appointments prior to visiting a school by contacting the main office.
*All visitors will be required to complete a health screening questionnaire and may have to submit to a temperature check prior to entering the building.
*All visitors are required to wear a face covering (cloth or disposable) while on school property and inside FCPS facilities.
*Visitors who do not have face coverings will be provided a disposable mask upon entering a school.
*Visitor access should be limited to essential activities.

Once again, 2020 and Covid-19 has revamped our plans for this year’s annual winter clothing drive. Historically, the CSMS PTA Care & Share program has collected winter clothing for students & families in need of help. This year the CSMS PTA Care & Share program will give Walmart gift cards to Sandburg families with the help of CSMS social workers.

Attention 8th grade parents - West Po construction update
The West Potomac PTSA will be holding their monthly meeting on Dec. 7th. They will be joined by the FCPS construction team to give an overview of the capacity enhancement/addition plans for West Po. Phasing is expected to begin by March 1, 2021 and the project is expected to be completed in August 2022. The construction discussion will take place at 7:00 PM and anyone is invited to tune in via the West Potomac PTSA Facebook page.
