PTO Fundraising-Important information

Sent on behalf of our supportive Colvin Run Elementary School PTO.


 

Dear Colvin Run community,

 

A number of you have joined the CRES PTO this year and donated to our Direct Donation fundraising drive.  However, quite a number of you have still not.  I'm reaching out to you today to encourage you to join the PTO and donate.  

 

Direct Donation Drive

Our Direct Donation drive is our primary fundraising activity of the year, and at present, we are still only at 50% of our needed donations(!) The money that the PTO provides is critical to maintaining the curriculum enhancements and teacher stipend support that our school relies on each year.  You might think that the pandemic and online school have reduced our expenses, but in actuality, our expenses are approximately the same -- and with reduced in-person fundraising opportunities.  Year to year, the PTO spends approximately $140 per student.  Accordingly, we are asking for $25 to join the PTO for each family and for $125 per student (the same amount as in previous years).  If you cannot donate the published amount, all amounts are appreciated.  As always, your donation is fully tax deductible.  Simply click here to join the CRES PTO and make your donation.
