1. From the Principal's Desk

Dear Members of the CHS Community:

I hope you had a good week. I want to wish a Belated Happy Veterans Day to all of you that served our country. All of us in the Chantilly community thank you for your sacrifice and service! I also want to recognize all of the Chantilly seniors that recently committed to play a college sport. As you will see in the list below, a significant number of our students will be collegiate athletes at some of the best colleges and universities in the United States. Please join me in congratulating these accomplished students and their parents. I also want to remind all senior parents to encourage their senior student to attend  our rescheduled Seniors R’ Cruising event on Monday November 16th from 2:30-4:30. The weather looks great and it promises to be a fun event! In a car parade through the Chantilly High School parking lot, senior students will be able to see their friends and colleagues from a safe distance. Along the way, seniors will receive a number of treats and spirit items from staff members at various locations as they pass by. The day will include a number of contests including best decorated vehicle and most spirited.

Have a good weekend,

Scott

7.  Recent Student Successes

This is the next installment for the school year of what has become a weekly segment aimed at recognizing students for demonstrating recent improvement or achievement in academics, behavior or citizenship. At the end of each recognition, you will see the name of the nominating teacher or staff member. On a rotating basis, departments will nominate students.  I plan to meet with recognized students each week (virtually) to congratulate them.
