Veterans Day - November 11th

Veterans Day

Dear Parents and Guardians:

I hope you were able to enjoy the beautiful weather this weekend.

Wednesday, November 11th is Veterans Day and a two hour early dismissal.  As a result, there will be no in-person instruction for students. Classes will resume on Thursday, November 12. In addition, please note that for all scheduled student early release days, no in-person instruction will take place. Instead, students will participate in teacher-led online instruction.

Our Social Studies department is sharing educational material around the importance of this day.

On behalf of the Woodson High School students and staff, I thank all of our Veterans and active duty military men and women for their service to our country.  You are appreciated.

Sincerely,

Dr. Floyd
