Dear Shrevewood Families,
I want to thank everyone for replying to our email from last week to confirm or revise your choices for your child’s educational program (continuing with 100% online or moving to in-person instruction 2 days a week). It was important to hear from you, even if you maintained your decision from this summer.
Families who chose the in-person option with children in our Pre-K program and in Kindergarten will receive an email from us Monday, November 9 identifying the days your child will be attending in-person (Tues/Wed or Thurs./Fri). Families who chose the in-person option with children in grades 1 and 2 will receive an email from us Monday, November 16.
As a reminder, FCPS is planning to bring students back to in-person school on the dates below (all dates subject to change):
Week of Nov. 16 Pre-K & Kindergarten
Week of Nov. 30 1st & 2nd Grades
Week of Jan. 4 3rd-6th Grades
In advance of the return dates, teachers will be provided time to plan for the change. Starting Monday, November 9 Preschool-Second grade teachers will be planning every Monday. Asynchronous work will be assigned but live lessons will not occur. Additional asynchronous dates are listed below. At this time, grade 3-6 will continue with their same schedules.
