Come learn about the Military Interstate Compact and students’ rights regarding credits to to help ease the transition to a new school district. For more information, see this flyer. The speaker will be Jamie Albers, Virginia School Liaison, from Ft. Belvoir. The event is sponsored by the West Springfield Pyramid.
Veteran's Day Celebration
In lieu of our traditional Veteran's Day assembly, we are honoring our service members virtually this year! Each class will be treated to a virtual assembly during their morning meeting on November 11.

Positivity Project
This year, Keene Mill will continue implementing the Positivity Project (P2). P2 is dedicated to empowering America’s youth to build strong relationships and to understand, appreciate, and exemplify the character strengths in us all.
Next week, students will be learning about Perspective. Perspective means that you appreciate when people see things in different ways. You have the ability to understand the world from multiple points of view. Perspective is also referred to as wisdom and is distinct from intelligence. People with this strength are sought out for advice because they see the big picture and can make sense of the world’s complexity.
