Fort Belvoir Elementary is finding our buildings very lonely without our students and their hard work on our walls. Can you help us decorate our buildings, so it looks welcoming when we enter again? We are going to place boxes outside our front doors for your completed work. These projects could be artwork or any other work you have completed you are proud of. Please put the student’s name and the classroom teacher’s name on the back so the work can be placed near the student’s classroom. It would be great if you could add a photo of the student. If you are unable to drop your work off at school, please consider sending to our Counseling Team: You can send it to Ms. Gainey tgainey@fcps.edu (Primary School) or Mr. Balde bbalde@fcps.edu (Upper School).

Families, are you tired of cranky kids complaining that they’re bored? Sick of seeing them spend endless hours staring at screens? Worried that they’ll grow weary of work before school even really begins? We’ve got a solution!

Coming soon to the bus loop near you: it’s curbside library pickup! Tired of reading online? Take it old school! We’re here to take care of all of your reading, research, and entertainment needs! Students of Fort Belvoir Elementary (both Upper & Primary) will be able to request books online!

Using an online form, students can request a grab bag of books selected especially for them by Ms. Kalletta (primary) or Ms. Florence (upper). After the form is submitted and the books are gathered, you’ll get a notification letting you know when you can pick them up! Pickups will be offered on Wednesday and Friday at 11:30 - 12:30 during the lunch pickups, or during Family Choice Time on Wednesdays, from 2:40 - 3:40. All you’ll need to do is head over to Door #2 at the Upper school for ALL pickups, give us your name, and your bundled books will be delivered to your car! Returns will work the same way- just bring your books back during the pickup times, and we’ll take care of them.

tech

The FCPS Technology Resource pageprovides tip sheets and support in multiple languages. These tip sheets provide answers to basic questions about FCPS technologies. Often you can find the answer to your question in these resources. For technical support questions about your online parent accounts, your student’s FCPS laptop, or technology your student uses for online learning, contact the Parent Technology Help Desk (toll free) at 833-921-3277 or enter a support request ticket via the Parent and Student IT Portal.

Tech Support For Families

The Parent Technology Help Desk will be answered 7 a.m.-11 p.m., seven days a week. Parents who need help in a language other than English should let help desk staff know, and an interpreter will join them on the line. (FCPS has Parent Information Phone Lines available in eight languages to assist with general questions about FCPS.)
