2 hour Early Release
On Friday, October 30, Herndon Elementary Students will be finishing school two hours early. The schedule will be as follows:
9:20 am – 12 pm Instructional Activities
12 pm – 1 pm Lunch time
1 pm – 2 pm Family Choice Activities
November 2 and 3
Student Holidays: No School
Teachers will not be available for office hours and students are not expected to complete new asynchronous assignments. Regularly-scheduled classes will resume on Wednesday, November 4. See the complete 2020-21 school year calendar

HES Office Closed and
NO GRAB and GO
The Office will be Closed on Tuesday, Nov. 3, 2020. We will be working remotely that day and if needed you may send an email to segoodwin@fcps.edu.
There will be NO FCPS Grab and Go. Pick up an extra one on Monday, November 2, 8:00 am-1:00 pm at HES.

NEW Technology Help Hours
In-person instruction has begun for select groups at Herndon ES. We have created a new system and hours for drive up technology help.
1. Drive into the front loop of HES and park near the shed.
2. Call the front office at 703-326-3100 and our tech will come to your car. Please make sure everyone is wearing a mask.
3. Hours of drive up service Monday-Friday (except holidays):
8:15-9:00 am
12:00-1:00 pm
2:15-3:30 pm
