Whitman After School Program
The After-School Program is beginning virtually this year, with the possibility of an in-person program when students can safely return to the building. For the virtual portion of the program, we may be offering some programming in which Whitman students would participate in activities with students and staff from other FCPS middle schools.
In order to participate (virtually or in-person), all students are required to be registered for the after-school program. Parents and students, please complete the short registration form below. If you have more than one child attending Whitman this year, please complete a separate form for each student. Click the link below to complete the registration form.

Whitman PTSA
Dear Whitman Family,
Thank you to those who were able to join us for our first Whitman Family Trivia night on Monday. Ms. Miller led us through 2 rounds of trivia covering general knowledge and sports. It was great to get to meet some students and families (we even had family members join from other states) and get to know some of our awesome Whitman staff better. We will definitely be doing it again!
Please mark your calendar for our next PTSA General Meeting. We will be meeting on BBCU on October 15th from 4:30-5:30. The link will be sent out prior to the meeting.
Highlights of our meeting include:
Speaker Jessica Phillips-Silver, a trained music neuroscientist, will talk with students and parents/staff about developing the skills of calm, independent learning, creative expression, empathy and antibias.
Dr. Herring will share is Principal's Message and talk about the rolling gradebook.
Mrs. Villanueva will give us an overview of the Live School program.
Our Fall Membership drive is going strong - please take a minute to join if you have not yet had a chance to do so.

Gracias a quienes pudieron acompañarnos en la primera noche de Trivia de Whitman el pasado lunes. La Sra. Miller guió 2 rondas de trivia cubriendo conocimientos generales y deportivos. Fue genial poder conocer a algunos estudiantes y familias (incluso miembros de su familia de otros estados) y conocer mejor a parte de nuestro increíble personal de Whitman. ¡Definitivamente lo volveremos a hacer!
