Students Rights & Responsibilities

Parents and guardians, please review the Student Rights and Responsibilities and related resources at www.fcps.edu/srr.  After reviewing the information, fill out the SR&R Parent Acknowledgement Form using this link.  The form must be filled out one time per student. If you have any questions, please email us at littlerun@fcps.edu.

Emergency Care & Health Information Forms

don't forget

The Emergency Care and Health Information forms are available for electronic submission via your FCPS 24/7 (Blackboard) accounts within the weCare@school (weCare) module. To login to the parents’ FCPS 24/7 account, you can use the same login/password as your SIS ParentVue account.

OR

You can fill out the paper forms included in your Take Home Kit and return to Little Run. There will be a box outside of the school during school hours where you can drop off your forms.

Technology Tip

If you have not yet setup account recovery info, please do so here:  https://itweb.fcps.edu/accountrecovery/index.cfm   This will allow you to request a password reset anytime (k-12th grade) for your child and the link to reset will go right to your email or smartphone so you don’t have to go through the staff.   If you have an FCPS laptop, you DO have to drive by the school and do a restart (can do in the kiss-n-ride loop) anytime you do a password reset.

Books on Buses!

We are starting a delivery service, using FCPS school buses, to bring Little Run’s library books to you! The first date will be Tuesday, September 29th!

You can go online now, to our library catalog, and request a book! We will try our very best to get you the one you requested but due to high demand for certain books, and the need to quarantine returned books for 7 days, Mrs. Beaumont may have to choose a different book for you to put on the bus instead. Either way, we are sure you will enjoy reading about new adventures!

How to Place Library Book Holds for Bus Delivery or Walker Pick-Up

How will books be delivered to you?

If you are a bus rider:

Bus drivers will deliver books to your bus stop on Tuesday afternoons, starting on September 29th. Please be at the stop to meet the driver at your assigned time (look for an email with details coming Monday). The bus will return every Monday afternoon, beginning Monday, October 5th to pick up your library books.

We are working with Transportation to develop a bus stop schedule. We will share the schedule soon.

If you are a walker: You will come to Little Run to pick up and return your books at door 2. Pick up time will be Tuesdays from 3:30-4:30pm and returns will be Mondays from 1-2pm.

In order to follow all safety protocols, masks and social distancing will be required.

Please note, we are unable to accommodate any pick-ups or returns outside of these scheduled times.

FCPS will make all reasonable modifications to policies and programs to ensure that people with disabilities have an equal opportunity to enjoy all of its programs, services, and activities.  Anyone who requires an auxiliary aid or service to facilitate the pickup of materials should contact littrun@fcps.edu as soon as possible.

Grab and Go Meals

Did you pick up your grab and go meal today? FCPS is providing grab and go breakfast and lunch to ALL students Monday through Friday. And you don’t have to pay for it! You can go to any school that offers meals. It is easy to find out where to pick up food by visiting the website:  https://www.fcps.edu/return-school/food. FCPS buses are also delivering meals for Little Run students to the bus stop at Harford La & Arritt Ct from 7:40-7:50 am.

Little Run Town Hall

To continue the conversation from our Woodson Pyramid Town Hall, we will be hosting a Virtual Listening Forum around Equity on Monday, October 19th from 6-7pm via Blackboard Collaborate Ultra to hear directly from our families.

The purpose of this time together is to provide a safe space and platform for our community members to share openly and candidly about the strengths and needs of our community as we continue to work to create a welcoming environment that is supportive of all students and families. We are committed to continuing to grow our partnership with you to address the needs and concerns of our students and families. We look forward to this opportunity to listen, learn, and hear from one another.

If you or your family would like an interpreter, please reach out to Aida Joranko ( ajoranko@fcps.edu) by October 9th.

Little Run Yearbook- We Need Your Help!

In order to create a memorable yearbook that reflects the uniqueness of this school year, we’d love for parents/guardians to share pictures of your Little Run students learning and participating in school activities throughout the year.  You could share photos of your child participating in the PTA sponsored Jay Mattioli's Virtual Magic Show happening tomorrow (details below).

You can either Tweet your pictures to @LRESYearbook

OR

email them to Littlerunyearbook@gmail.com

Please note:

  • By using the @LRESYearbook handle, you are granting access for your photos to be used in our yearbook publication.
  • If you do not wish for your child’s photos to be used for our yearbook, but still wish to tag Little Run in a post, please use #LittleRunStrong or @lrroadrunners instead.
