SLES PTA Equity Team Seeks Diverse Leadership
The PTA is trying to start an Equity Team and seeking a co-chair. This Equity Team will work to ensure that our community is truly equitable for all our students and families. It is important our PTA leadership reflects the diversity of our families at Stratford Landing.
It is very important to have the voices of our entire community working with our equity team. The PTA believes that voices and leadership from our Black/African American, Hispanic and Asian families will make this team purposeful and meaningful.

FCPS Health and Wellness Fair (virtual / online) Sep 14 - Oct 3 :
This year we will continue to partner with INOVA and Kaiser Permanente to host the 7th Annual Mental Health and Wellness Conference.
The conference will feature keynote speakers who will address social emotional learning and resiliency.
Virtual sessions will be offered September 14th-October 3rd.

"Replay It" Nonprofit seeks donations of gently used sports gear - deadline 9/30
The goal of "Replay It" is to give children in need the opportunity to participate in sports through donations of gently used sports gear. To read more, visit our website (www.replay-it.org)
We have recently launched our first drive! We are partnering with Hearts and Homes for Youth, (www.heartsandhomes.org) an organization based in Maryland dedicated to empowering young survivors in foster homes to make positive life choices and build brighter futures.
How to donate:
- Gather equipment: child-sized sports gear, athletic clothing (preferably youth sizes M, L, XL), and basketballs, footballs, soccer balls, or volleyballs
- Leave a bag of gear to donate on your front porch by Sept. 30
