Dear Timber Lane Families,

Timber Lane Elementary is a Title I school within Fairfax County Public Schools’ (FCPS) and utilizes the Title I grant to improve student achievement and help all students meet the objectives of the FCPS Program of Studies and the Virginia Standards of Learning. A partnership with families is essential to meeting this goal.

Please see our attached Timber Lane Elementary School Title I Parent & Family Engagement Policy & Compact. Also attached is our Parents Right to Know document. We have planned for a variety of inclusive academic and family support events across this school year that needs your input and participation in order to make this the most successful school year ever, for our children.

We look forward to partnering with you this year and look forward to your participation in future school events, PTA meetings, school conferences, and always keeping in contact with our fabulous Timber Lane staff.
