If you want to join the Woodson PTSO go to this webpage https://wtwoodsonptso.ptboard.com/home and under announcements find the JOIN Woodson PTSO - click the green VIEW button. Create an account and enter the WT Woodson code - 4STUWV. Fill in the required information and click add to cart then click checkout once at the checkout enter the information for the credit card (Enter your card #,expiration date and CVC #).

Asynchronous Classes on Wednesday, September 23
On Wednesday, Woodson Seniors that signed up will be taking the SAT and staff will be at school proctoring the test. All underclassmen and seniors not testing on Wednesday, will have asynchronous (not live) instruction for their Even Day classes (Periods 2,4,6 and 8) on Wednesday, September 23rd. Your child’s teacher should have already explained to them how to access their instruction for the day but so you as parents are aware they can access their instruction via their teachers learning platform either blackboard or google classroom.
Synchronous learning will resume on Thursday September 24th, for our Odd Day classes.
Textbook Distribution
Please know that we will distributing textbooks/materials that we have in stock. Some textbooks are on order, so please have your child check with their teacher before signing up. Teachers will be sharing with their classes if their class has a hard copy textbook to pick up.

(Please note that we will also be distributing textbooks to those seniors who are scheduled to take the SAT on September 23, but no appointment is necessary for this particular date).
Sign Up
Only students who have been assigned textbooks from their teachers need to make an appointment to pick up books. Click HERE to sign up for an appointment.
Parking & Building Entry
All parents / guardians / students should arrive at Woodson HS and enter the parking lot via Whitacre Road and proceed to the front of the building by Door 18 (next to auditorium). There will be staff directing you accordingly.
Students only (not parents) must enter the building via Door #18 (next to auditorium). Students will be required to answer a health questionnaire prior to entry, wear a mask and maintain social distance. Once inside the building, students will be directed to follow a specific route collecting their textbooks/materials.
What to bring
- Empty backpack
- Card with name and student ID # clearly printed (helps with checkout process)
- Mask (students will not be permitted into the building without a mask)

Student Driver Magnets
Do you have a new driver this year or a driver who is out of practice due to the COVID-19 lockdowns? If so the PTSO has the perfect item to let all those other drivers know your situation. A Student Driver Magnet for your car! Magnets are $8.00 each or buy a batch of 3 for all your cars for $20.00. You can order online from the PTBoard website HERE. Senior Memorial Bricks
Senior parents, Don't forget to order your Senior Memorial Brick in honor of your graduating Senior (or even for other family members who are W.T. Woodson alumni). These memorial Bricks make excellent graduation gifts!! Bricks will be installed in the courtyard in between the main entrance and the auditorium entrance and we strive to have them installed before the Senior Baccalaureate ceremony, but in any case definitely before Graduation.
You can order by filling out the Brick Order Form (found HERE) and sending your check to the mailing address indicated on the bottom of the order form. You can also pay online HERE and follow the instructions for what to engrave on the brick or send a scanned copy of the order form to wptsobricks@gmail.com.
(We must have a copy of the order form on file to order the brick).
