As we prepare for our first Monday, we want you to have clear directions on how and when to access your child's Morning Meeting and Clubs. This schedule will change over time based on growing educational opportunities.
As we move forward, your child's teacher will be providing additional information on small group times, where we will offer further individualized intervention and enrichment opportunities.
We recognize that when you look at the schedule as a whole school, it can seem confusing. We encourage you to scroll down to your child's grade level. This will allow you to focus on the two times a day that pertain to your child.
You will notice that due to the number of students in a group, the grade levels are split at different points in the alphabet. If this split impacts you, and you would like us to consider moving your child to the other group, please e-mail Principal Yacubovich.
Monday Schedule Details
- Students will use the grade level charts below to identify which times they will be attending (morning or afternoon). This is based on the first letter in their last name. If they have multiple last names, please use the last name that comes first.
- The morning and afternoon will begin in your child’s Google Classroom with their classroom teacher. They will either have a morning meeting starting at 8:45 or an afternoon meeting starting at 12:45pm, depending on the time they are attending. For 2nd grade, students will end with an afternoon meeting at 2:45pm instead of starting with one.
- They will then transition to their designated grade level clubs. These can be found in the schedule below. These will begin at 9:15 in the morning, and 1:00 in the afternoon. Students will need to find their designated classroom in their Google Classroom list. The name of the classroom is provided below. Their classroom teacher will also be posting these links in their Google Classroom. Their specials teachers will come to their club room, so they do not need to click on multiple links when changing clubs.
- When the student is not in clubs, they may work on Asynchronous activities which can be found in their regular Google Classroom.
