Dear Wakefield Forest Families,
We hope you had a wonderful start to our 2020-21 school year today. We were so excited to see our students this morning. As we begin our learning journey, we know that we will be building stamina as the days and weeks progress. Our youngest learners are new to learning in this virtual format, and we understand it will take some adjusting for them to attend to instruction for longer periods of time. We’re here to partner with you to make virtual instruction as successful as possible.

Teacher Materials and School Supplies
If you have not yet picked up your child’s teacher materials and pre-ordered school supplies, you are welcome to come to the school any time between 8:30 am and 3:00 pm to retrieve them. Please call the office when you are on your way (703-503-2300). When you arrive at WFES, press the button outside the main doors and someone will bring you your child’s materials.
How to Get Technical Support (FCPS Laptops only)
If your child is having technical problems with their laptop (for ex, microphone not working, screen going dark, etc.), please go to this site:

You will be able to reference troubleshooting videos or place an online request for assistance. Those requests go directly to WFES tech staff, who will respond as quickly as they are able.
