Please consider making a tax-free donation. This serves as our only annual fundraiser. Your contribution translates directly into academic enhancements, programs in the virtual environment, improved technology, facilities renovation, and support for our student body during this pandemic. Click here to donate. As a token of our appreciation, our Silver level donors ($100) get an MHS supporter magnet and our Red level donors ($200) get a face mask.
Submit Employee Matching Contributions: Many companies sponsor the Employee Donation Matching Program for non-profit organizations, such as McLean High School PTSA. You can DOUBLE your contributions to McLean Highlanders. Please ask your employer if they participate.

Upcoming Mock SAT and ACT Tests
EC Tutoring is offering mock SAT and ACT tests. These tests are available to students at area schools at $20 per test. Please remember to identify yourself as an MHS student on the sign up form so that the PTSA gets credit; the fees for these tests support our programs.

FCPS School Board Virtual Discussion: School Resource Officers
The FCPS School Board will be reviewing roles and responsibilities of School Resource Officers (SROs). Share your family’s perspective on this important topic:

Update Your FCPS News Subscriber Preferences
You can update your preferences, modify your password or email address, or stop subscriptions at any time through the Subscriber Preferences Page. There are multiple sources of news for the county school system and even some specialized for graduating classes (i.e. scroll down the page to McLean High School and see the many choices such as Class of 2024). You will need to use your email address to log in. If you have questions or problems with the subscription service, please visit subscriberhelp.govdelivery.com.
Art Competition: The Theme for the 2020-21 School Year is I Matter Because…

Students submit their completed works of art in one or all of the six available arts categories: Dance Choreography, Film Production, Literature, Music Composition, Photography, and Visual Arts. Student winners from the local level have the opportunity to move up through their district, region, and state PTA programs to the national level. Several MHS students won awards last year.
Details on submission to the school and the deadline will be announced soon. Judging will take place in the fall and all students will be notified before Thanksgiving break. Please access the website for submission rules and Student entry forms here.

The McLean PTSA is an all-volunteer organization. Every program the PTSA runs is planned, funded and implemented by the creative, energetic and generous families of McLean High School.
