Final Day of Laptop Distribution
- Our final day of laptop distribution was postponed due to a power outage. Our final day of laptop distribution is now Monday, August 31 from 4-6pm.
Orientation Information – September 2
Student Schedules
- Schedules will go live in StudentVue and ParentVue at 6am on September 2. On Monday and Tuesday, August 31st and September 1, all students will receive invites to join their teachers google classroom.
- We are excited to see everyone virtually for orientation on Wednesday, September 2nd and even more excited for our new school year to begin on Tuesday, September 8th. In order to help students get organized for these virtual experiences, we have created an organizational tool to help manage the course links and meeting times. On September 1st, students can use THIS VIRTUAL BELL SCHEDULE INSTRUCTION SHEET DOCUMENT to help create and organize their information. Students will also find a video tutorial at the top of the instruction sheet.
- NOTE: Students will need to log in with their @fcpsschools.net account to access that instruction sheet document. They will be prompted make their own copy of the instructions. Need log in/password help? Click HERE.
Class of 2021 Student/Parent Night – September 1
- We will be holding our Senior Night Virtually next Tuesday, September 1, 2021. Please RSVP here and we will send you a link to the presentation. We will record the sessions and send out the links afterwards to anyone who cannot attend. We encourage both students and parents attend virtual sessions that are of most interest. We ask each family RSVP once per household. An overview of the schedule for the evening and presentations can be found here.
SAT Day – Class of 2021 – DEADLINE EXTENDED
- As shared previously, West Potomac is hosting an SAT Day on September 23 for the Class of 2021. Only seniors can sign up for this free testing opportunity. We have extended the registration opportunity through August 31. If you have not already registered and want to test, the student must sign up using their fcps schools email via this google form by August 31.
- All students who registered by the original deadline of August 24 will received a confirmation email from Mr. Easter by today, August 28. Those who register by the new August 31 deadline will also received a confirmation email by September 2. If you have any questions contact raeaster@fcps.edu
