Free and Reduced-Price Meals Information
During the pandemic and summer meal program all students under 18 receive FREE breakfast and lunch.
On September 8th virtual learning will begin. FCPS meal program will be under the National School Lunch Program, which requires Food Services to account for each meal served based on the students eligibility status (Free, Reduced or Paid).
Students approved for free or reduced-price meals during school year 19-20 will continue to receive the benefit through October 20, 2020, or until a new application is processed (whichever comes first).
Online free and reduced-price meal applications are available on the FCPS website in eight languages at:
Parents that qualify are encouraged to apply or reapply as early as possible.
Remind 101
Falls Church High School is electing to utilize Remind 101. Counselors invite students to join their group and it allows counselors to safely send messages to students’ phones.
If you do not want your son/daughter to participate, please opt them out by emailing your child’s school counselor and Jessica Grenfell.

Need a Mifi? (Internet access for the home)
As we prepare for the upcoming virtual school year, it is important to follow these best practices. To assist with preparing FCPSOn devices remotely, students who have a laptop at home should do the following once per week:
- Plug the device into an outlet.
- Turn the device on and let it boot up.
- Ensure that the laptop is connected to the internet.
- Let the device sit for 30 minutes. No additional action is required.
- Do this once per week to ensure the laptop has the latest updates.
Please continue these practices throughout the entire school year:
- Turn your laptop on for a minimum of 30 minutes every week(you don’t need to be signed in).
- Restart your laptop from the Start Menu (click on the Window Logo, then the power icon, then restart) once a week to ensure that you are receiving the latest updates.
If you cannot remember last year’s password, it can be recovered, managed and changed by clicking on this link:
- Go to the Account Manager Website
- Enter your Username & Password
- Click Click to Display your Recovery Options
- Add a personal cell phone number or email address.
- Go to the FCPS Account Recovery Website
- Enter your Student ID
- Select your Recovery Option
- Click Get Code

Click the reset password link that was sent to your phone or email
- Follow the on screen directions to complete the recovery of your password

FCHS 20-21 - Student Laptop Pickup
Attention Freshmen and New students
It is time to schedule a pick-up date for your school-issued laptop for the upcoming school year. We have designed distribution to follow all CDC guidelines. Click Here for the link to a calendar with appointment times. Just click and set your appointment, and we will see you soon!
Please remember the following:
- If you have a laptop from your previous school, please bring the laptop with you, and we will exchange it for a Falls Church High School issued laptop!
- Please wear a mask
- At Least 6 feet Social Distancing
- Use the Hand sanitizer stations when you arrive at Door #2 and when you leave:).
