Dear Oakton Parents,
As you know, we’re getting ready for the first day of school on Tuesday, September 8. Our teachers are excited to meet their new students! You will be receiving an email from your child's teacher today or Monday with details about how to connect with them for a virtual Meet & Greet session prior to school starting.
Laptops
Since all students are learning online this fall, we want to make sure every child who needs a laptop, has one. Mr. Eck has scheduled laptop pick-up for next week for those who have requested one. You should have received an email from him with a specific day/time. If you arrive early, please wait in your car until your scheduled time. Thank you for helping keep everyone safe.
To abide by safety protocols, only 1 adult may accompany each child. Strict adherence to the health department's guidelines on device sanitization and social distancing will be in effect. Masks are mandatory and you must answer NO to all of the screening questions. If the answer to any of the questions is YES, please contact Mr. Eck to reschedule your appointment at kaeck@fcps.edu.
We encourage you to bring your child with you to pick up his/her laptop at your scheduled time. Please know your child's username and password, if they were a previous student, for logging into his/her school laptop.
